Regional council help to upgrade your burner
Needing to upgrade your old wood burner to meet new clean air regulations?
We help South Canterbury homeowners navigate Environment Canterbury’s new requirements and assist with applying for the Healthier Homes Canterbury initiative for district ratepayers.
The subsidy scheme, which is available until 2028, enables eligible Canterbury ratepayers to add the cost of a new, low emission gas or wood fire installation to their rates bills to pay back over time. Up to $6000 (including GST) is available per ratepayer.
